Shared-Decision Making Committee (SDMC)

The Shared-Decision Making Committee (SDMC) at the High School for Law & Justice plays a vital role in shaping campus planning and decision-making. The SDMC brings together campus leadership, teachers, staff, parents, community members, and students to collaborate on important issues that impact student achievement and school operations.

Purpose:

• Provide input on the campus improvement plan

• Support school safety and climate initiatives

• Review and advise on the school budget and staffing plans

• Promote collaboration among all stakeholders

Who Serves on the SDMC:

• Campus principal

• Elected teachers and staff members

• Parents and community representatives

• Business partners

• Student representatives (where applicable)

Meeting Schedule:
The SDMC meets regularly throughout the school year. Meeting dates and agendas will be posted here as they are scheduled.
