🚌 HISD Transportation Survey – 2025–2026 School Year

Families will receive a survey from the HISD Transportation Department to submit their initial transportation requests for the upcoming school year.

📬 Here’s what you need to know:

  • The survey will be sent via email or text, depending on the contact method you selected during enrollment.

  • Please check your inbox and junk/spam folders for the message.

  • If you haven’t received it yet, one should be sent to you soon.

🚌 Bus Routes

Transportation is provided by HISD for eligible students who live more than two miles from their school or have an approved transfer with transportation arrangements.  Parents can check bus stop locations, pickup and drop-off times, and route numbers using the tools provided below.

🔍 How to Find Your Child’s Bus Route:

Visit the HISD Transportation Services page:👉 https://www.houstonisd.org/transportation

Click “Find My Bus Route” and enter your address and student information.  Routes are typically updated the week before the start of school. Be sure to check again if you don’t see your info right away.

🕗 Arrival Times

  • Students must be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes early.

  • Please expect possible delays during the first two weeks of school.
