Charity Basketball Game
Each year, the HSLJ girls’ and boys’ basketball teams face off against Houston Police Department officers in a friendly, high-energy charity basketball game. This event builds community relationships and raises awareness for a great cause.Spirit Week (Hosted by Cheer Team)
Leading up to the game, the Cheer Team hosts a themed Spirit Week, where students dress out each day according to different themes. The week ends with a Best Dressed Contest, and winners receive a prize! -
🏈 Homecoming Week & PowderPuff Game
Homecoming Week is a spirited and fun tradition at HSLJ!

The Ambassadors lead the weeklong Spirit Week, where students dress out according to daily themes and compete for Best Dressed prizes.

The celebration ends with our annual PowderPuff Game, where HSLJ girls compete in a friendly flag football game against another high school, and the boys take over as the cheerleaders!

It’s a fun and memorable way to bring our Eagle community together and show off our school pride.
